‘Your body’

First of all, you need to know your body, which mean your finger in this circumstance.

Everyone has different finger shape, some people has short fingers. Some people has long fingers. After you know your finger shape then it’s time to move forward to the next step.

‘The ring design’

This included band design, mounting design, material, and colour.

Easily choose material from your favourite choice but the material would reflex colour of the band. It is one of the main reasons that make your hand shine like stars or clouded like a rainy day.

This is depend on your natural colour skin. Some people end up getting material that wasn’t their first choice but presented well on their finger.

The band design would present your style. The thickness of the band could make your finger look longer or shorter. Choose mounting by the design you love it to be set together with your stone.

‘Stone’

Here we comes to the most value part of the ring. When I say stone, it doesn’t always mean diamond. This could be any other precious stones of your choice or even pearl.

However, pearl will not be included in this article as the shape is very simple as round or baroque.

Most common shape for diamond and precious stone can be classified to 11 different shapes, round, princess, asscher, heart, cushion, oval, pear, marquise, emerald, radiant, and trilliant.

Your preferred stone shape not only make your hand stand out of the crowd but it could also tell your personality.

Picking a ring, especially an engagement ring could be a tough decision as you will end up wanting everything even if you already have your dream engagement ring before step your foot to the jewellery shop. The three basic things above would help you cutting your option down to the one that will be on your ring finger forever.
